Hi all! Well this was my first felted hat attempt...prefelted--top pic, post--bottom Chic Knits felted bucket hat in Patons Classic Merino in Navy and Leaf Green. Used almost 1 skein in Navy and about 1/3 in Leaf green. It was a pretty easy knit and the recipient loves it.
This is a rolled brim hat for DD out of Red Heart Soft double stranded. It was done in secret, and she was very suprised and hardly takes it off. Sadly she's down with the flu now.
This hat/scarf set done in Marble acrylic yarn as SIL is allergic...
Chic Knits Bucket hat and ribbed scarf, no specific pattern.
This is a ribbed hat I made for FIL out of Lamb Pride Bulky Sandy Heather, which was a dream to knit with. With my ever growing stash of LP, I have finally used some. Sadly, it...well....is a bit too small. So rather than adding more to the top, which I really can't as not enough on the skein. So with my LP Oregano (sniff was supposed to be for something else..) I'll make a longer one and add the leftover from this to make stripes.
All in all it went pretty well for my first knitmas...although the above ribbed hat gave me a few problems and I stayed up way too late to finish it. DH's IHS is coming along, hope to be done this week. I am making a felted bag with 9 stitch I-cord that is killing me...it took me forever to finally "get" it....then I go along about 10 inches (need 30 total) and all of a sudden, it is out of pattern...so I frog...reknit....frog....reknit...STILL NOT WORKING...So I had been calm before then...frogged right down to the start of the handles and it is going ok...
I'm having some trouble learning how to add code, etc. I want to put blog links, KAL's and progress bars...WIP's, etc. No luck tonite, so all you get is pics :-) However I finally figured out how to add some things...
More news later......
