It is......

Finished, I have finally finished the Red Scarf
I took the best pics I could...given the time and no daylight. I really want to get this in the mail tomorrow. I am sooo glad it is done. What have I learned...do a simpler pattern (not that this was hard, just had to keep row count, etc.) and DO NOT DOUBLE YARN....my wrists....I hope someone is kept warm and enjoys this....it is hard to send off...cause...well...you know I LOVE RED!!
Used LB Woolease in Red 2 1/2 skeins, size 10.5, hmmm used bamboo circs, straights...and my Denises (big mistake there)..I have needle ADD I guess hehe. Some projects get dual needle use (if I have them)can you believe I have no size 3's except for dpns that are being used for Sock 1. I do have a #3 40" addi I will attempt with ML.

Ok, now some yarn porn...My friend Heather has just started spinning and dyeing roving and sock yarn. I was at the right place, right time and this is her first sock yarn called Cupid...I love it!!! I just wished the sock fairies would knit for me when I am asleep...the pairs I would have LOL! Visit her Etsy Store, she has roving and will have sock yarn very soon...No I am not a paid advertiser haha! Just a satisfied customer..who needs to maybe cast on a cuff or so for her to see her colorway in action...hmmm how many sock WIP's can I create...

Ok..see my ipod mini...it is a nice ipod...doesn't ask for much...only to have it's space invaded with songs and podcasts...only wants to be charged once in a while...

See my nice pouch I made with cotton-ease...velcro even to keep it safe and warm...well I guess I need to not forget my true black leather w/armband case when I go to the gym...poor, poor ipod...while I was walking on treadmill at a fast pace...moving my arms it was safe on the magazine rack part (so I thought) (shouldha been on my arm!) and my flailing arm hits the earplug cord, whips it out of the magazine holder and cute little pouch and onto the tread...YIKES...and gets flung off the back...I jump off, pick it up and plug back in...praying all the while it still works (no service contract)Gentleman 1 treadmill down.."are you ok?" Yep..I replied red-faced.....phew..tis ok...proceed to brisk, fast, walking pace, ipod safe in cupholder this time...flailing arms AGAIN hit earplug cord, flinging ipod down on treadmill, then jumps off to the side under another treadmill (luckily not used at this time)..look around..did anyone see it happen AGAIN! ..so now I hold it in my hand...tightly and wait for my son to come back upstairs from weightlifting to use my treadmill...waiting...waiting...holding tightly onto ipod...rocking/walking to Robert Plante, Black Eyed Peas, etc...holding tightly to peanut sized bladder so that son could have the only available treadmill...he's a no show after 40 mins..and I have to go....so I went....

Sandra tagged me today...still working on the answers...until tomorrow...same bat time...same bat channel :)

I love the yarn, thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out! (And the Ipod cozy is gorgeous too!)

Lovely scarf! About your hands hurting, for me it's knitting with bamboo straights, especially larger gauge needles. Ouch. My hands are so much happier with circulars, especially with Addi Turbos. Although I haven't had any reason (yet!) to knit with two thick strands...

The scarf is great, Crazy Aunt Purl would be proud! And can I just say I'm jealous of your cozy? I need to make one for my mp3 player, but of course can't get any cotton-ease. I love those colors! How fun!
