Gadzooks! I think I have too many to make one of those lovely progress bars in my sidebar...(hehe, too much work right now for that ;)
I have joined a sock a month along to motivate me to knit up that jumbo hefty bag of sock yarn. I also am making a red scarf this weekend for the Orphan Foundation of America. They are giving them away in Valentine care packages to foster children heading for college. So check out the link and if you have the time go for it. I'll warn you though, the mail deadline is 1/28 and if you live near the drop offs listed, 1/31. I am making the Magic Scarf ala Crazy Aunt Purl. Hopefully, I'll get it done and off by mid next week.
Finally cast on for the ever popular Clapotis for my Behind the times along project I am making a mini one with my 4 skeins of Noro silk garden...finished section number one last night. Well after many minutes of searching online on how the heck to do a pfb increase...me I have to have visual images. Found it and away I went. Until the next crisis on that :)
WGS-alias Weekend Getaway Satchel (will be further referred to as WGS), 2 more rows to COLOR..Yippee
Scoop Du Jour is moving along. Working on the fronts simultaneously...kind of. I wanted to do them both on the same needle butI was afraid I would mess up the armhole decreases (left from right...you know in my job it is vital I know my left from right...very vital...why do I mess it up w/knitting???) so one side is on the stockinette part and the other is getting started with the ribbing. Making it in LB cotton ease in ice blue...yum... sidenote on CE.. discontinued and I think I got all I could locally...hmmm **runs and hides plastic bin ful in case someone wants to steal it ;)
Sock progress....about 1" until....heel part...eeek!
DD's missing voodoo wrist warmer...still in project bag, you think those elves would just cast on and start it!!!That's it...no more WIP's until I get a few FO's I can't stand it...ha, who am I kidding..
Well I have the next five days off....hmmm an FO???Will....it....happen...stay tuned ;)

I've had my eye on that Scoop Du Jour pattern ever since Bonne Marie posted it. And I, too, have some ice blue cotton ease! We could be twins! hahaha!!! Please keep us posted re: your progress. If I remember right, that pattern doesn't have any waist shaping; is that correct? Well, it would be easy enough to add some (I need it!!). Have a fabulous weekend.
Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. You have some great projects on the needles, I am thinking of making clapotis one of these days, too.
Clapotis!!!! And after seeing all of those on other blogs I still wanna one for myself!
Honey, just little tip. When you do copy/paste for hyperlinks be careful that http:// doesn't show twice - that's why your hyperlinks don't work (same happened to me, too)
When you start the straight row section on Clapotis, don't do what I did. When you pick up that bar after dropping the stitch, the directions weren't clear to me that they meant k2togtbl. I went and knit the bar and following stitch separately tbl. I figured it out on the next knit side. Just, beware. The woes I have had with the clap are numerous.
