I am a joiner....

Yep, I joined ScoutJ's dyeorama. I was on the fence, but my good friend Heather encouraged me to try something new. So I did get a bunch of easter egg dye kits for 33 cents each, and will get some koolaid also. I am in the WTF am I doing category, so I feel relieved that I wouldn't be ending up with a swap partner like Heather or anyone else who is a much more experienced dye'r. So I do have a skein of sock yarn that will be the first victim. I don't want my swap partner to get the first skein...sometimes I do things for the first time and they turn out golden..sometimes not LOL! Stay tuned, this could be a fun adventure for me.

I took a sock class on 2 circs. I have 2 more to go and I think this is the best thing I have done for myself and my knitting. Not only did I learn the start of a new sock knitting technique, but she answered by swatching questions and I hope a lot more. Most of my crafts I have learned by the seat of my pants, books, online list groups, etc. So I gotta go do some homework now... :)

I can do socks on 2 circs but have an issue with 2 socks on 2 circs. If you can figure that out give us a tutorial. I just can't ever get the darn things started! :)

I joined Dye-O-Rama too - I was scared because I've never dyed either, but it just sounded like too much fun to pass up. Thank goodness for the Dye-O-Rama blog . . . I'm hoping to get a bunch of tips there. I can't wait to order my yarn and go on a Kool-Aid hunt. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying your 2 circ class - that was part of my Olympic challenge. I still can't decide if I like 2 circs or DPN's better - usually which ever way I am knitting the current pair of socks seems like my favorite. LOL

You are back to school. Wish I could join any knitting class here. Believe or not but there is no knitting class here, or somewhere else in Croatia!

Ooh, I joined too :) I can't wait to start (though I have enough easter egg dye to choke a horse!) and see what everyone else produces.

I signed up too -- I've done Kool Ade before so I signed up under "experienced" but I'm nowhere in the Scout or Heather category! I'm going to try Wilton food coloring dyes.

I thought about sigining up, but I'm a dyeing virgin as well and figured my pal would be screwed! Good for you for jumping in!
