Do you think.....

That I somehow like these colors???

This is the Nest Egg colorway from sKNITches .

Sportweight superwash merino

And, um...doesn't this look a lot like the previous one? LOL! STR in Lucy, lightweight. Well the decision was easy for me...I like it, not as much as the Nest Egg and the blue isn't as dark as I had hoped it would be, which happens with hand dyed yarn sometimes. So, it will be on it's way over yonder to a very happy recipient who is about to get her first skein of STR. Me...oh don't worry about me...um...er...I'm getting some very nice yarn in trade ;) Everyone is happy! :)

Oh...sniff...and now for some bad news. I did a huge boo-boo...I washed Brown Gable....something furry was in the washer???? lint that flew in there??? sniff...so I popped it into the dryer to become lint free.....sniff...it ain't lint free, stretched out to fit 2 of me...sniff......sniff....I am letting it air dry the rest of the way and I sure hope that I can use a lint roller brush...sniff...all that work....sniff.............................I should have just frogged it....now I have ruined the yarn!!!!

So sorry about Brown Gable! I hope you get it all straightened out, (and lint free!) you worked so hard on that.

Oh no on the Brown Gable! I hope you can fix it. If not, I'm probably 2, 3 sizes bigger than you, hehe.

I love those colorways too!

The yarn really does match that tote (lovin' that fabric!).

Ouch, your poor Gable, sooo sorry. Hope you can save it after all your hard work.

Poor brown gable. Hopefully it can be salvaged.

Oh dear. I don't think you were meant to have brown gable :(

Those colours look lovely together so I'm not surprised you've gone crazy with them.

You know I love that fabric on the bag and the needles!! Those needle holders that you made..is one for the dpns and the longer one for the straights? Love the sock yarns. I now own a few of Snitches yarn and one day hope to try STR yarn. I tried to buy it at the festival this year but they sold out by the time I got there! I was urked to say the least. Poor top.Sorry to hear that.

Hmmm. It's actually very hard to ruin yarn. If I were you. I would toss the thing in the dryer on low heat and let it dry all the way. Then when it's dry, don't worry about the shape, just take the lint brush and delint it.

Then put it on your blocking board with either a steam iron or spray bottle and block it back to shape. It will be fine! Trust me! :)

Oh no! It stretched? What if it went in the dryer on high heat? Would that help shrink it? Ahhh!

I love the blue/brown combo too...though strangely I haven't yet knit anything with those colors!
So sorry about Brown Gable...hope you can find a way to make it right again.

I'm totally creeped out by your color scheme there.

Was it blue lint that got onto BG? That wouldn't be so bad right?
