This weeks blogstalking assignment. Library, so here we go!
Um..well since most of my fiber activities take up their share of the house...I have this tiny corner of a very large bookcase for my knitting books. This is the first row.
Here's the inner row, mainly copies of patterns filed by type in the binders, magazines, small pattern booklets, and receipts in the cardboard file. ETA: hehe no, Bezzie, they are not all yarn receipts, LOL! ;)
DD's mini library, we packed away much more. I just love the blue on her walls, I won't tell you the patching I had to do...1000000000's of tiny holes courtesy of push pins...not allowed anymore, only poster putty! :)
Below is my quilting library and a few containers of small bits of fabrics. Top right is patterns inbinders and a magazine holder. Bottom right is file box with patterns and lower left is binders full of...um...yep you guessed it quilting/sewing projects.
Finally, my small literary (ha!) library courtesy of my CASP#2. I don't usually purchase books, I borrow from the library as space is limited. But in 2 years when my son moves to college (insert evil hand rubbing here) um...his room is partly mine! 4 huge shelves.
Well, not going to show the cookbooks..um..I do collect them and have quite a bit. But sadly, packed since I had the floor tiled in April...only a few remain in the house. Off to knit and do laundry!

I love how everything is organized!
If you need some more books, let me know, hehe.
WOW!!!!
Hee hee, my mom made my sisters' and my old room into her second sewing room! Ha ha!
Are the receipts for yarn? ;-)
I love the blue walls too. And I'm still working on getting most of my books from the library. I thought being a librarian would help with that, but, alas, I find myself making a bee line for the book store...
Great organizing going on there! I wish you would post your favorite quilt one of these days. Would love to see it! You could use a few more books.LoL

I love the blue too! Very nice =)
Hmm...a box would be wise to keep my receipts in. Something other than a bag in the corner with ball bands in it as well.
Ha ha Z!! We just went to Ikea and purchased bookshelves, but before that happened, we were double shelving all of our books as well. My knitting section is smaller than yours, but I bet my cookbooks would compare!! (No quilting, I'm a novice at the sewing machine) Cheers, knitdds
nice organized books... HELP!! lol
I'm working on it really.... almost there too ;o)))
Some great books there, I have some of the same. Is the Socks, Socks Socks book good? I've had this socktoberfest urge to buy another one. :)
And your daughter reads manga, yay!
Oh, what a lot of amazing books - and I'm way impressed on how organized everything is! Now I'd love to come over and have a good read through these books of yours ;)
You look so organised.
I love your plans for world domination - well expansion into the kids' rooms at least.
I wish that I could get organized!
