Y is for....

Yellow -- and if you were my SP this year, it is one of the colors I don't particularly care for.....in yarn that is! I was teased by one of my SP's if I didn't behave, she'd send me a bit of bright yellow yarn..so I behaved! ;)
One day I hope to have a big kitchen and would love to have a wall or two painted a light shade of yellow...just not my yarn LOL! Well..I should state, not something personally for me. If I knit for someone else, and they like the color..I'll use it! ;)

So here's a bit of Yellow in my world!

Chicken Soup Yellow Rain Slicker
Chicken soup and my rain slicker!

Yellow tools collanders
To the left, pins, rotary cutters and a sunflower pen! To the Right a set of colanders...(look familiar anyone?? ;)
And see...as proof, I don't mind yellow in my yarn.....

Yarn
Just not a solid color! ;)

You know, I don't like yellow either, but I wouldn't mind painting my kitchen a very soft shade of yellow.
Nice yarns!!

my guest room is a pale yellow. It's not a color I wear, but it's so cheerful!

Yellow is a lovely accent color!

Yellow is a cheery color, but I couldn't knit with solid yellow yarn either! That last picture is some serious eye candy, by the way. Oh...thanks for the blog comment! I don't get many so that was nice. :)

Ahhh, goodie! I really like yellow - just as orange, it never fails to cheer me up. But when I come to think of it... I only have one clothing item that's yellow. Hmmm...

My living room is light yellow! I love it, it's so warm, sunny, and happy in there. :)

Oooohhhhh, that yarn pron is soooo preeeettty. Is that Scout's Swag and Brooklyn Handspun I see? You'll have to let us know how you like them, those are two I have yet to bring into the weezafold.

I don't tend to buy yellow anything unless it is used as an accent like you have here.
Love chicken soup!

Pretty yarns! I'm not a big fan of solid yellow either but I do like with other colors.

It's amazing how much yellow you can find if you look for it! Thanks for your comment on my blog, and thanks for stopping by!

Isn't it funny how you always end up with so much of a color you don't like? I would have said yellow isn't my favorite either - but I started looking around the house and there certainly is more yellow than I ever thought there was!

You know, I know very few white women yellow looks good on. I look like I ran away from the hospital before I was entirely better. My mother loves it, but looks like she has consumption or some such.

My former boss, on the other hand, ate food just because it was yellow, and it's his favorite color in the world. I guess it's good we're all different. If we weren't, my favorite color yarn would always be gone!
