Alchemy Pagoda 100% silk-Forest Waltz Colorway
Posed amidst my only surviving Azalea bush. The freeze we had a week or two ago, killed all the blossoms off the others. Hey, we are so surprised they are still living anyways..I do not have a green thumb! ;)
Awesome colorway, the giftor certainly knows a few of the colors I love!
Now, finding something lovely to knit this scrumptious yarn into....it arrived the same day as a skein of Lorna's Laces Chocolate Worsted, and they hung out together for a bit...but I think she's a bit of a loner...she needs to be knit alone, or with something equally as delicate.
Ideas anyone?

no ideas, but pretty yarn.
You mean aside from being posed in the azaleas for pictures? Hm. I think that's a yarn that needs to sit in the stash while you wait for a pattern to find you.
I agree with Bezzie - that yarn is so lovely, you want to be sure that the perfect pattern comes to you for it. I love how it almost seems like it could be 2 different yarns, with all the variation in colors. And how can you go wrong with 100% silk!
Gorgeous! What about just wearing it around your neck like a necklace? ;-)
Gorgeous!!!!!!! Soooo pretty!!
So nice and soft. The colors are great. I concur with Bezzie. I think you should just wait for it to come to you. That doesn't mean you can't do a little searching as well! :D
oooh, that looks so gosh darn yummy! congrats on this score. reminds me of fall time!
Man, this is awesome - these beautiful colours are really jumping at me through the PC screen! Yummy!
No idea what to do with it but it's gorgeous! And Hot Pink looks great! You did a fab job on the both of them!
oooh! lovely colors...
sorry no ideas...
if you don't know what to knit - just do a few swatches. it will at least give you some yarn tasting =)
arm warmers, scarf, a long and narrow hair wrap/head scarf?
Gorgeous yarn!
I concur with all those bright ladies that posted before me. Let a pattern find you - no need to rush into something.
That is really pretty yarn! Plus I love how the bag came out! MAkes me want to start one too!
Have you seen the skirt pattern that uses this Alchemy Pagoda yarn? It's on the PurlSoho.com website, though they don't seem to sell that yarn. I found your comment because I saw the pattern first and was trying to get a closer look at the yarn. Nice stuff! The skirt looks like fun!
