Where the heck did May go!! I've been on leave since the 1st and have been accomplishing things slow but sure!
2 years worth of shredding from the file cabinet! Ick job, but I had to get it done! I "found" quite a few things...mainly son's shot record...sniff! He's got his first job! A lifeguard at our gym. The same gym that DD has summer camp at. Neither one is too keen that each other will be there part of the time..oh well!
I frogged this sweater (not knit by me..bought in a store before I learned to knit!) as it was a turtleneck..well I live in NC..don't need no stinkin' turtlenecks...sigh...so here you have it. Hehe..been like that since last August! See..I've been doing some yarn rearranging too and found this.
2 rows of single crochet and voila! I can cooly wear it now!
Kind of a close up...you know how red is!
Avalanche Vest for the Dulaan Project .
Gjestal Naturgarn No. 1 in purple
Size US 11 & 13 circs/dpns
I got this yarn in a swap. Great way to try new yarns. Not as soft as LP though! It was my first time picking up armhole and buttonhole stitches! Not too bad...
Still Alive!!!
Finally, I leave you with 16 needle cases...cut out! I have a few more that need lining or interfacing on and I'll probably have 20 or so available soon! I have a bit more fabric on order too.
Tomorrow is WIP it Wednesday...off to get some progress done on something!!

Look at all that pretty fabric!! That's where June has gone! I know...can you believe it is June already?!
How cool (literally!) that you redid the neckline to make the turtleneck wearable! And LOL on the "Still Alive!" I get that way about the orchid I've somehow managed to keep alive for a year (very unlike me :P).
I LOVE that chair fabric. Love love love it! Where did you get it?
Your needle-cases rock and those fabricks are amazing!
Now, this is of course the perfect neckline - quick, easy and awesome! Lookin' good indeed, and so does your Avalanche Vest! And those gorgeous flowers - yummy, the colors are so totally inspiring!
I don't know that looks pretty productive to me!!!
Looks like you've been pretty busy to me. Nice save on the red sweater. Those needle cases are going to keep you out of mischief for a while.
Wow, I think fixing that turtleneck sweater is so cool! I don't think I'd have the guts to do something like that. It looks wonderful now.
You've been busy! Great job on the neckline. Congrats on keeping the flowers alive, they're beautiful!
we did a shredding binge like that a few months back - it is amazing what you accumulate! it looks like you are making progress in your projects - that is a great idea to turn that Turtleneck into a "regular" sweater!
Well, I can guess how you spent your weekend! All that fabric. I'm sure that all those cases will be fabulous and will be gone as soon as they are finished!
Great idea on the turtleneck sweater!
How exciting to see all the needlecases!
I love how you modified the turtleneck.
More fabric on order? Didn't you say something about your fabric stash being massive? Heh.
The refinished neckline on the sweater looks great!
wow it looks like you've been busy! I've never thought about ripping out a store bought sweater to make it more wearable, great idea!
Don't you love it when you can re-make something you already own and it becomes refreshed and totally fun to wear? Knitting is so cool :) (or crocheting as the case may be...)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!
YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
Pretty petunias.
Wow, you've been busy! I'm not sure where May went either, but I better hurry up and get a whole bunch of stuff done too.
My goodness, you've been a very busy girl. I love how you redid the neck of the sweater - I would have never thought it could be done . . . and come out looking so nice!!
I don't know how you do it. You're amazing.
Hmmm which one of those fabric swatches is my future needle case?
You are one busy lady!
Busy bee!
