Handspun Monday-the Only Edition!

Here's my only handspun to date! I have a spindle, I even have some fiber, but I don't have the time, space, or real desire to spin at this time of my life. HOWEVER, I love seeing everyone else spin, their handspun and I cannot wait to go to SAFF in October, and see all that live fiber!

So, it's ok, you can laugh!! I do!

1st Handspun I think they call it overspun, extraspun, humongous spun! ;)

1st handspun!

1st Handspun The roving is from Heelside Farms in NC a Romney- lincon cross I think! It came with the spindle. I think they'll be at SAFF too! They were at MSW.

On another note...um..had to go back to the fabric store today.....

Ooops! OOOPS! Not good when you have at least 4 more needlecases to sew in that colorway! Yay for thread at 50% off this week too! They are coming....very soon! ;)

You're flying through the thread!

Glas to know I'm not alone on the spinning. I'd rather just have the handspun yarn! But it will be fun to see it all at SAFF.

I know what you mean about enjoying others spinning but not really wanting to do it yourself. Everyonce in a while I am tempted to try my daughters spindle, but I just don't have time for another hobbie right now. It will have to wait for a quieter time in my life.

I think everyone's first handspun looks like that. I'm sure mine will! I haven't tried yet, though.

By the way, what was the URL of the site that your undyed yarn came from, again? I think I'm going to look into ordering more from them!
