Blogstalker 2, Week 3-How I get around

How I'd love to get around is public transport, then I could knit...but, oh well!
001 I just love my Escape...I can escape almost anywhere!! It is a hybrid as hubby wanted. Before you ask, no I don't plug it in..I get those jokes all the time. That or I have to stick my feet out to get a running start like Fred Flintstone! It runs on gas and is OK on gas. You see, it's not a small vehicle so it doesn't get like 50-60 mpg like other smaller hybrids do. It gets 28-30 mpg city driving, which is 99% of my driving. It gets less when I have to use the air conditioner, which, I am STILL using and will continue all this coming week....Rain, where art thou!! Fall, where art thou? It is so quiet too. Freaks people out when I'm tooling around the parking lots.

002 My favorite color....well I like almost all, but Red is my favoritest!

Inside my car! A view inside, now that my daughter can sit in the front (which she loves) I have to put all my junk in the back...sigh.. Oh, what's that hanging thing you ask..

Lucky Yarn Ball Yarn Balls, by Bezzie or as my daugher likes to call them, my secret weapons should I need to poke someone's eyes out!!

I've been up since 6 am, making breakfast for my son before he takes his SAT's. Wish him luck to get about 30 more points on his math score. He also has an interview for NROTC this week, and we pick up his proofs for his senior pictures. Whew, he's got quite the calendar this year with college visits (I'm going to Maine in early December for a visit to Maine Maritime..fingers crossed he gets that acceptance, it's his first choice!) (ahh...doughnuts, MacIntosh apples, potatoes, Humpty Dumpty Potatoe chips, lobster...ooops..sorry, got off track!) He's applied here in state too! His sister is hoping he goes out of state so she can have his room. As for me..um..er..is it bad to want his room for your fiber room? ;)

Ok, enough, I promise not to bore you all with the details....but just remember come this spring if I'm not a chatty Cathy, or sniff..um..not blogging much.. you'll know why!

And I'm off for now!!! Off where you ask besides my rocker?????

MY SEWING MACHINE IS READY!!!! ONLY 2 MORE HOURS UNTIL THE STORE OPENS!!! The other reason I'm up so early LOL! Plotting, planning, how to sew and knit this weekend!!

By now, you and your sewing machine should be re-united so I hope you're happily sewing away!

I had a red Prius rental car this week on my trip and it was very zippy! It was weird getting used to the quiet engine but I liked it!

Yay for fixed sewing machines!! :)

I want a hybrid SUV! They are freakishly quiet, easy to sneak up on ppl... not that you want to sneak up on ppl in your car but you get my drift.
