Ok, I know not everyone likes snow, but I do! This is the first time in 18 years that I'll be home during the winter! Today's trip did not dissapoint either! Once we hit Virginia about 8 am, the snow showers started and got worse/better along the way to New York which is where we are now! The roads were pretty good! I even got to drive for a bit, but hubby was desperate for a nap, he doesn't like me driving with 18 wheelers...hehe..he was fearing for his life LOL!
Anyhow, it's all good with me, I can go back to my backseat
driving knitting..well I did save him from going the wrong way after getting gas...yeah, perfect timing looking up from my knitting! I am minutes away from an FO.... It got dark here pretty early, and I forgot my reading light, so I had to quit the car knitting sooner than I wanted to...oh well!
Here's my son getting a snowball ready to throw at me! Boy am I out of practice!
It was good for him to see snow all around and life just happening as usual, I mean, people were driving more carefully, but you see we come from an area not used to snow and everything shuts down. So he needs to get used to seeing how people live with it on a daily basis. He should be in for a real treat in the next few days. hehe!!

Wheee!
Yay for snow!! Have a fabulous time Zonda!!
Snow is so pretty! Er, from what I remember. :P
Oh, darn, you forgot your reading light? And you have to stop knitting sooner? (Hehehe, my 3.5 FO master plan is aaaallll coming together, exactly like I planned... *evil laugh*)
:-( Send some snow over to Munich, will you?
I like the snow, too - especially when I don't have to go anywhere and can just sit at home and knit ;)
We just got our first snow too. Yay!! Have fun!
Fun! I'm glad you got to see snow! We're supposed to get some tonight and I'm not looking forward to it! :)
You are going to have such a great trip! Enjoy the snow!
Ooo...he'll be living around it next year won't he?! So exciting!!!
I love to see the snow - I'm hoping for a little around here this year. I don't mind it now cause it melts away fast here in NC.
I think we have about 14" in MN already, and it has all fallen in the past week or ten days. Not so happy to see it here. Add predicted real temp of 24 below and you're talking real winter! lol I'm glad your son gets to experience it, but after you've "experienced it" for 45 years, it's kinda not so much fun.
Awww snow!! Ihaven't seen snow in a long time! Your son is a cutie!
Oh yay! I love snow!
