Hiya! Well, since I'm a bit behind in posting ...hereya go!
Here's a pair of mis-matched WIP's:
To the left--Lucky 7 Hat by Weezalana using Paton's Merino Tweed; to the right Better Bucket Hat in 100% Purewool Poison (Malabrigo's cheaper cousin ;) I'm knitting this hat along with my pal NC Christine (hehe should I say forcing her to do it, our first crocheted provisional cast on using the working yarn and hook, how I first saw Pam use it at SAFF to cast on like 300 plus stitches) The pinkish looking yarn is the Poison and the blue is the provisional cast on.
Now for the 1/2 FO's
Ice Cream Socks in Vesper Sock Yarn 1 down, 1 toe to go! How fast can I knit a sock...hmm...12 days left to the month, and considering Sock 1 has been in progress since..like..um..June/July..It has been rescued from being car/apppointment/waiting for the girl socks to hey, let's just get em done!
Oh, and what has been sucking up all my time besides one very sick hubby. (ETA: flu has finally left the building!!!)
Freakin' Finally, TD body is done, 3" shorter than pattern says...why, no clue, but it's not blocked yet and geesh, that skirt is 83 rows and since I knit 14 of them twice, I'd say it was 97 rows on there! In it's not blocked state, and about to get the collar stitches picked up. And another thing, you see others may have knit this using size 10 needles. Well, my darn gauge was acheived using size 8's!!!!!!
To ensure no Second Sleeve Syndrome (which is the cousin to the dreaded Second Sock Syndrome) I'm knitting them 2 at a time. Yes, the tiny bit of tangling is a pain but trust me, I've got like 2 more winter sweaters waiting to be knit....I've only swatched both of them, and have not cast on..staying true to TD and it better fit!

Wow! The tilted duster looks great!! Go 2 sleeves at a time!
And I have complete faith that you will finish the ice cream socks! I think I have that same colorway and it makes me want to cast them on! So cute!
Go sleeves go! And I love that icecream sock!
What great WIPs!! Hurray for the finished TD body. Glad to hear hubby is on the mend too.
Yummy ice-cream socks. I like that pink poison - pretty.
Are you using 2 circs for the sleeves, or Magic Loop?
Yay for the TD!! I SO want to knit one, but I can't until I finish hubby's Cambridge Jacket. It's only fair - none for me until I finish his languishing WIP...so, I'm living vicariously through yours, LOL.
I'm all for knitting 2 sleeves at once.... :)
good for you for keeping it all moving along! I'm just stuck on one thing. You need to get that TD done in time to wear it once before the heat sets in. :)
Ice Cream Socks - YUM!!!
I was actually just thinking about that sock :) I love it.
Glad the flu is gone & TD looks lovely. :)
Everything looks great! You're making excellent progress on the Tilted!
Mmmm, ice cream....and maybe blocking the bejeebers out of it will coerce it to the right length?
Wow! You are one busy lady! I love the icecream socks and the sweater! Can't wait to see the rest of the items:)
Lovely lot of projects you have going. I'm wondering how the cheapie version of Malabrigo feels. I must admit that I've fallen hard for Malabrigo and don't find the cost bad at all for small projects but I'd be interested in a similar yarn if it felt just as luscious.
I love the color on those ice cream socks!
Knitting both sleeves at the same time is a good idea. I get second sleeve syndrom too sometimes.
Dang, girl, you DO knit the most delicious looking socks.
Can't wait to see that finished TD.
Have to look into this cousin of mmmmalabrigo...
Great wips! The Duster looks great and love vesper sock.
Glad everyone is feeling better!
The socks look AWESOME. Love the crisp striping. TD is coming along swiftly! I know the sleeves will feel like forever but you'll be so happy when they're done!
And your fair isle swatch? Wow. Well done.
I immediately thought those looked like the chocolate/vanilla/strawberry ice cream I had when I was a kid! Such a beautiful sock!
You are forcing me to become a better knitter by learning new things. I love you for that and for having patience with me. :0)
I love your ice cream socks! I cannot wait to see your tilted duster. I started one last year, and quickly realized I would not have enough yarn!
