and early WIP Wednesday!
Onto the WIP's 1st! - well all that I'll admit to anyways :P
Pink Forward's
Love this artsy shot, which was a little challenging (see below)(far below, not directly ;)
Remember this, sitting in hibernation along with....
this one...
Well, they can finally be knit on again and not frogged!!!
Why you ask (well even if you didn't) the gene test was NEGATIVE (phew!) Now one more minor surgery and radiation therapy and some close screening I should be fine! Thank you all for your comments, prayers, thoughts, vibes, etc!
Oh, and what I eluded to earlier...um..er....well...um..I've been known to be a klutz.
As you can see here! Not sure a lot of knitting will be done in the next few days...heck typing is hard as heck!
I was trying to sit on a stool at work, behind the lead screen as I can't "wear" lead yet, it slipped and I did too and landed on my butt with my hand outstretched. My fingers showed a fine display of Vulcan signage as I landed on that hand. Luckily, no broken bones, just a sprain.
Geesh, boy was I red-faced, this all happened while the patient was on the table, doc was ready to start the procedure and an audience of 2 other peeps...
I can pick the perfect times let me tell you.....

Beautiful socks! Ouch about the hand. I hope it heals soon so you can knit. That would be embarassing to have it happen with such an audience though.
What a great sock pattern!
OWWW-CH! I hope the sprain heals quickly!
Owie on the hand (You must have caught my tendencies...), but YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! on the test results!!!!
Wooo-hoooooo!!! Thank goodness you are going to be okay Z!!! I just knew it was going to be a good day when your two west coast peeps spent the evening knitting together at the ball park (cpurl and irishgirlie, finally quality time!)! We of course really feel like a Stitches West should be in your future :)
Love the pink forwards!! And ouch to the wrist...and what timing indeed!
Big big hugs today!!
WooHoo! So glad to hear the good news on the results. Yay!!
Sorry about your wrist though. But at least you had an audience. did they clap?
Whooo hoooo! Big yay on the big okay! SO happy for you!!!
Between, you, tg, and irishgirlie, I may have to move those socks up in my queue. They're so pretty!
And ouch on the hand! Why do things like that only happen when there's an audience around? :P
HOORAY!!! on the test results!!!
As for the hand, OUCH! I strained my left wrist a bit on my most recent finished pair of socks, so I almost literally feel your pain. Fortunately, mine healed with a few nights in a brace. I hope you have a similar experience!
hooray for negative test results!
I'm so glad your test results were negative! Great news. I'm loving those socks. Hope your wrist heals quickly so you can get back to knitting!
Great news on the test results. That has got to be a huge relief.
I gave out a huge sigh of relief just reading through that. Hopefully the rest of the procedures will go quickly and painlessly!
Great wip's - although it looks like they will be sidelined while you wrist heals. Hope you are stitching again very soon!
I'd sprain a wrist, too, if it guaranteed good test results for everyone!!!
You did take a bow, right? Never miss an opportunity.
Live long and prosper, baybee! Woo Hoo!!
Such good news (the test results, not the hand)!!!! I'm so very happy for you.
I wish I were there when you fell off the stool. I'm sorry; I can't help it. Did everyone manage to stifle their laughter? ;-) Seriously though, I hope the hand heals quickly!
Test results? WHOOO HOOOO!!!
Hand! oh no!!
Carrie & I voted and you are coming to Stitches next year...
Oh no! I hope you heal quickly!
Leave it up to you to spoil a great moment to you by falling on your butt!!!! :0) You are a mess for sure. very very happy for you man!!!
That's wonderful news about the test results. Hope your hand mends quickly!
What's the sock pattern? They're lovely.
I'm a klutz too...
I hope you feel better soon.
