YPF-The Attempted Kopykat Kolorway Version

Guess this title makes you wonder huh?

Colors!!!
What the heck is she talking about.... (gorgeous colors here btw too! )
Pagewood Farms Alyeska
I confess to drooling severely when Cristi first posted the colorway of her current socks in progress on a prior YPF. I "had" to find the colorway, and was not successful for a long while. Although hers is a bamboo blend, mine has..oooo cashmere...yum!

Then...one day I was and when I got it in my hot lil' hands I loved it but looked at the name....um..that doesn't say Crayon...hmmm, it does look pretty close.

After emailing the company and deciding to return it I put it back in the box and went off to knit nite. Upon my return, it was under the dining room table...my kat, she loves some cashmere! (great taste!) So I emailed back and said I would be keeping it...she knew all along I loved it. Yes, the kat is safe and so is the yarn ;)

And because I never tire of educating Lower 48ers..."Alyeska" is an Aleut word that means "The Great Land." YOu can tell where the name of our state came from...

Can't wait to see what you come up with for it!

Ah and now that I read about the company--it's run by a couple of quasi cheechakos! Makes sense!

Very pretty. Guess Kat knew you were destined to keep it.

Mmmm, that yarn looks good! I've never knit with their yarn before but it's very tempting.

You were going to give that UP? What are you, a crazy person? Good thing your cat was sensible enough to intervene. :)

chemgrrl is right. That was crazy to think of giving up the yummy cashmere in such a pretty colorway. So glad you changed your mind even if you had a little help from kitty.

The lys near work carries Pagewood so I get to see a bit of her colors spectrum. I really like her color aesthetic.
