WIP it Thursday...

Due to rainy, cloudy days (which yay as far as I'm concerned as it helps with the breathing factor) I present disclose some of my current WIP's.

Tomatillo
Tomatillo
Lime Green Cotton Fleece, 1/2 done before joining in the round. Would like to finish by 25 June :)

Cotty Socks
Cotty Socks!
In Plucky Knitter MCN sport in Nancy Jean. I'm so loving this yarn...gosh it's amazingly soft. Sadly it's not getting much action due to the last project in this post :(

My first lapghan
Lapghan for VA
Yeppers, crochet action ;) Our knitting guild and another group is trying to knit 100 of these for our local VA Hospital and Nursing home. This yarn is awesome for an acrylic though. It's I Love this Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I bought skeins to donate for someone to make some and figured I'd at least try 2. Good thing I have a long time until they are due I'm way slow :)

And the project taking most of the knitting time lately....
February Lady Sweater
What you see here is now about to be minus 3 rows...waaaaa must tink as I didn't use a life line (yes I will be adding one now, thought I could be a rebel and not...) trust me it's way noticeable and I don't mind really..I would just love to finish this in the next week. I have found another error, but it would require major tinking and when you see it, it's so hard to see as somehow it didn't interuppt the pattern. So it stays just like it is.

I'm pretty happy yarn wise, so far only on the 2nd skein (STR heavyweight in Grawk) and it should be plenty to finish. Then 1 skein for the sleeves, which I think I'll divide in case I get a wild hair to knit longer sleeves...hmmm doubt it, but hey, I can if I want!!

Which folks, to me is why I love knitting over sewing. So much more customizable, recyclable, and start from scratchagainable ;)

I can see why it's taking up all your time - that is gorgeous!

I totally agree. You can't uncut a sewing pattern!

Can't wait to see the Tomatillo!

I had to do the same thing to my FLS. Only I had to go back 4inches. I sewed a lifeline of sorts in and ripped. Then carefully put the thing back on the needles. I feel your pain! Details on my ravelry project page. (woundtootight) I am now at the garter edge of the second sleeve. I WILL wear this thing on Mothers Day!

I had to rip out my FLS completely after all the garter and 3 repeats of the lace was completed. It was too small! I love yours in the STR. Great colorway.

The projects look great! But my favorite is the FLS! I love the Grawk color you picked out.

Oh wow, they are all so lovely. How do you ever decide which one will come out and play??

I love the lime green - what is it going to be when it grows up?

Startfromscratchagainabile, love it!

What I don't love, however, is sewing. I've been trying it lately and I really, really want to like it, but am just not feeling it. :(

Crochet! Me too! Apparently it's a bandwagon I've jumped onto. Not that I mind that, mind you....

I meant to grab that sock last night and drool over it (not on it, mind you). It's so very pretty!

I love the color you used for the Cotty sock. Yummers.
I just can't get excited over crochet so I'll leave that one alone.
Oh - it's only 3 rows. You can do it. :)

Love the sock and Tomatillo... I'm on a green "kick" right now, and I'm loving that color.

That's the most patriotic-looking piece of crochet I've seen in a while. I'm sure it'll be appreciated.

Pooh...I can't see your last pic to see what you are workin' on the most. :(

I will say I just finished crocheting a couple of lapghans and it is fun! One of them using the I Love This Yarn too! Best cheap yarn out there Haha ;op

And I was just saying the other day how I couldn't sew b/c it just isn't portable :o)

Great WIPs going on! And glad about the rain too b/c the pollen is crazy!

Have a great week Z!!
