Baby Shrug that is! (what you thought I was gonna have something sweet and tasty here? Sorry ;) I have a few co-workers having babies lately. So you'll see a few more gifts coming.
Front view...
Don't those chocolates on the quilt make you hungry for some...huh..do they?
See the back, I guess I'm all about top down construction lately. This is my 3rd one (well I guess you can call it 2 1/2 ones as this is a wee one.) Not too much seaming either, just the arms.
I just love it together with the wee pants and shirt.
Too cute IMHO!
Confection Baby Shrug by Tonya Wagner
6 Month size
Less than 1 skein of Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton in Shell
US 8 16" Circular, US 10 for bind off
The yarn was really lovely to knit with. I did make a big mistake though..um..er...100% cotton yarn for a baby, won't it shrink like crazy if washed and dried? I will put a care tag on it, and I think just machine wash cold and lay flat to dry will be ok. Next time I'll use Cotton Ease or something like that to make it easier to wash...oh well ;)

Very nice. Makes me wish I was having another......wait, what?? Scratch that!
Too cute! I think the cotton will be fine!
Too cute!!
It's adorable! I love Blue Sky Alpaca cotton; I don't think there's a softer cotton out there.
A.dorable :0)
What a sweet little sweater! It makes the perfect topeer to that outfit!
That effing cute. In a severe way.
But babies are yummy!
Totally adorable sweater! And most of the time, if it does, cotton yarn shrinks lengthwise, not width-wise. Then again, the mom will probably not notice any shrinkage & think the baby's just growing really fast, which they do anyway. :)
such a fashionable baby knit! very cute
That is SO freakin' adorable!
(And you shop at my favorite store!!)
I was expecting pastries or some such, but that shrug is cute!
Yup. Girl knits are cooler than boy knits. Bummer! But lucky for that baby!
Cute. Too cute. Must knit one for my youngest!
It is very cute!
That sweater - actually, the entire outfit is just too adorable!
