Time is flying

Busy times around here!

There's needlecase orders....
Needlecase order
I made that bias tape! I finally got my little tape maker working right. I don't normally make my own for needlecases due to the extra fabric it takes (means higher cost, etc.) But, when a customer sends the fabric, it works out perfectly.

Fiber prep that I learned how to do from Shannon. (thank you again!)
fiber prep
The left is merino combed wool top and the right is Falkland (a birthday gift from Charlotte! Thank you!). I haven't been able to spin since before vacation, hope to this week, since I finally prepped some fiber.

Shopping for back to college stuff (he leaves again in 2 weeks!), entertaining 2 teenage girls (The Proposal), a tiny bit of knitting, the normal weekend chores! Where does the time go??

Well, I did take a bit of time this past week to get a cooler new do..
New Do
The shortest I've had it since my youngest was born. Yikes! I just couldn't tolerate what little length I had left. Of course by fall, I'll have grown it longer and change my mind ;)

Love the hair! Needlebags are looking good too. I was going to make one for myself since I have tons of fabric, but could never decide. Found one at Joann's on clearance using a heavier floral upholstery fabric and use that now instead!

Did the girls like the Proposal? I did, thought it was really cute.
