Hey..aren't you...

Supposed to be knitting? Like super swiftlike?

Well one does have other committments. Like our guild meeting yesterday, we learned to needle felt. It is so cool! I did pretty well and only pierced the thumb 2 times... ;)

First needle felting project
They are supposed to be acorns...but I think they are a bit more strawberry looking. I'm sure you'll see more of needle felting around here.

After the guild meeting, I joined a friend at an open bead group.
Learning to bead
Top one is daughter's, need to make it a bit smaller though. Mine is red of course, neat teardrop beads.

Beading is fun, I'm sure I'll make more someday, but I don't usually wear much jewelry other than earrings. It was good to just learn something new.

Right, now off to my lace....

Beware the lure of another craft! I have now have a bead stash (first hobby) a scrap booking stash, a yarn stash (duh) and a fabric stash. Maybe I should just send you my bead stash!!

Love the acorns - they are too cute!

I love the bracelets.

I wish I could say I liked the acorns...and I think they're well executed, but I kinda hate anything to do with squirrels now. You understand. ;-)

I always Thought needle felting would be fun but I've never tried it. I did beadwork in a former life. You can hide a large stash I'm a very small stash, but it can be really expensive.

Needel felting - great! Did't try it yet - but who knows!
And those acorns are pretending to be strawberries! Camouflaging!

You are a crafting whirlwind there! I like both the bracelets and the acorns. (I think acorns are a little browner than your red, but being a desert rat, I've never actually laid eyes on a real one, live and in person.)

Beading is fun! And soon you'll be really hooked, adding beading to your knitting.

I'm just catching up so am going to comment on your last several posts here rather than on each one (because I'm lazy like that).
I LOVE the acorns; I think needle felting is really cool, though I've never done more than adorn a hat and mittens for Samm with squiggly lines of it.

Your Olympic projects are awesome, love the cute hat and the shawl is going to be beautiful!
I can't believe how much you have accomplished in such a short time; I've been working on the same damn sock all month and the same sweater since December!
