Be soft

One request for chemo caps, to be soft. This one fits the bill.

Be Soft Beret
Another thing it fits is the style. A friend whose Mom is going through chemo recently told me that not everyone wants a cap/toboggan/head hugging style of cap.

Geesh Mom!
So my goal in this year's chemo knits are going to strive to be stylish and fun to wear. Not too wild, but something to cheer someone up.

This pattern is easy and I really like it. I see a few more in different yarns appearing in the future.

Is she done yet??

Taos Beret
Caron's Simply Soft in Navy
US 8 circs, knit mostly with Zephyr tips, goes pretty fast.
***made the large size, please note when setting up for decrease shaping if you knit the larger size you should knit 22, then place marker......ask me how I know ;)

Started during the Olympics, but not finished until...um..I can't remember...oh well ;)

Lovely! I like the way the decreases are done at the top. Kinda reminds me of a starfish!

I recommend Paper Moon as a slightly unusual, stylish cap... http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/paper-moon

I don't believe I've ever seen that color of SS! I love it (and the hat of course!)
