Having pooling trouble....

with your sock yarn? Well have it no more! Knit these :)

Close up of pattern
You may see clumps of colors, but no big areas of one color....the slipped stitches help. Plus it's quite the stretchy sock.

Yet another close up
I just love all these colors!

Oh, we must have the toepic pic
Toe pic!

The heel, it is an interesting construction. No holes for me for the first time with a short row heel.

SSP-Wrap hints are here to help understand. I really like it, and will use it a lot.

Oooops! There's some pooling...well I think it looks kinda cool on the cuff.
032
It is a double knit cuff, my first and pretty neat. Of course the bind off, I love to K-stitch.
The cuff is a little bit wide and wants to fold down on mine. I did try them on and it doesn't fall and holds up well. No picture of that...don't want anyone to faint for seeing a ghost ;)

Socks that Rock Lightweight in Waterlilies, which was a lovely gift from my Knitty SP Irishgirlieknits so long ago! It was waiting for the perfect pattern.

Go on...you know you want to stop the pooling, so knit these socks instead! ;)

I'm going to have to try those! If I can get over my fear of toe-up socks, that is. I designed a pair of socks to do the very same thing...break up that pooling!(actually, both of my sock designs should help pooling be minimal - Zodia and Watching Hawks).

Very pretty. Love those colors.

Ooh, I love your sock-blockers!

I also kind of love that heel. The usual heel flap construction of handknit socks just looks weird to me, but I do like that one.

Those are gorgeous!! A pattern that can both fight pooling and teach me short-row heels with holes? Sounds like my knitting dream come true!!

What a great color! Perfect pattern for that yarn. I have that pattern somewhere, and it just got moved to the top of the sock list- thanks! (Alos...LOVE the moose blockers!)

Very pretty! And that's "puddling" at the cuffs. Not quite big enough for a pool! ;-)

I am going to knit these socks in the Cattywampus I got at MDSW. I'm totally on the fence about doing the pattern heel or doing a New Pathways riverbed, which always gives me a perfectly-fitting sock. Guess I'll decide when I get going!

Love those. I consider it to be your fault that I have started one of those socks
