Presenting skein #3 of the 2010 Tour de Fleece
2 ply, 11 wpi
155yds of borsted weight (not a typo, according to the wpi chart, part worsted, part bulky ;)
4 oz. BFL/Silk
Ice Caves from Apr/May SAL
Allspunup
I finished the 2nd bobbin at the beginning of the tour and finished plying on Sunday. A lot of thick/thin areas too. I really had a hard time drafting this. It was not in any way the fiber, it's my lack of drafting technique. I am getting a bit better, and did so on the 2nd bobbin.
It's so soft and squishy too. It may look a bit wonky in places, but hey, it feels good!
This last week is the most I've spun in quite a while. I am enjoying it, and no I'm not spinning all the time, my wrists couldn't handle it. In fact, I've taken 2 days off from it.
Next fiber up is something bloody good...hmmm

Beautiful -- I love that color!
It's really lovely! I adore the color and really, what I like most about handspun is that it IS uneven and a bit wonky in places.
