What? Did you think I had given up knitting? Not....a....chance!! I admit I'm not spinning as much as I want, but that takes more energy and paying of attention, some knitting, I can be satisfied with a row or two ;)
Bright colors or what! Always loved this colorway but I admit when I was knitting it up, not as much. While knitting the foot of the first sock, I realized someone else would love these wild, crazy socks.
Modeled on the new porch paint job :)
Toe pic!
I gave them Friday night to the "Mom" of our knitting group/guild. She's around 82 and is always knitting or crocheting for others. In all the years I've known her, she's loved every pair of socks I've knit and joked that she wanted a pair. I don't often knit adult socks for others, but in this case I knew she'd love them.....and she did, what a smile I got from her!

SweetGeorgia Yarns Speed Demon Sock in Fondant Colorway
US 3's, magic looped.
No mods, an easy to remember pattern, very soothing to knit!
Next pair up....2 at a time plain janes! Yes, I'm all about the simple knitting right now...sorta ;)

So, if I see an 82-year old lady struttin' down the street with happy feet, I'll know her by her socks!
:-) Glad your socks found a good home.
Isn't it a great feeling when someone loves your handiwork? :) They look lovely! I need to get back to my socks.. they've been languishing on the dpns!
Great socks! I'm sure they'll be treasured by your friend :-)
Really pretty socks, and so sweet to give them away!
I'm all about plain janes on two circulars, two at a time. The fanciest part is a ribbed cuff. Perfect!
That looks to be a nice simple rib pattern. I like it. The colours are so cheery too :0)
She must be an awesome lady!! Love the socks, I love those wacky and wild sock yarns. Porch looks fantastic.
