My first Mitts!

Out of this yarn, Knitpicks Wool of Andes Bulky in Cape Cod colorway....
KP's WOA-Bulky
Casserole Mitts Made for my FIL for Christmas. My first time knitting any type of mitten. It was a great way to learn, bulky yarn, good instructions and 2 circs! The pattern also includes regular mitts, and some potholders. Get some bulky yarn or doubled worsted and go for it!

Felted Casserole Mitts These are felted, I put them in the washer so fast I didn't get a picture of before!

Felted Casserole Mitts Here you go, in use and working fine! :)

Very cool! I like the way they're connected like that--you're sure to always have a pair to grab a casserole!

Great first mitts!

Great job and what a neat idea. I've been thinking about knitting some mitts too.

I bet your FIL loved them!

Fab useful mitties! I know what you mean about excitement with felting projects...it's always cool to see how it shrinks!

Wow, fantastic job you did with your first pair of mittens! I've yet to do my first pair, but you sure inspired me big time - they turned out so great, and look totally cozy and warm and soft - yummy!

Cool! I need some potholders and a new oven mitt. (I only have one and it's about, oh, 8 or 9 years old!) I'd love to make a new one! Those are too neat not to try!
