1 day shy of 3 weeks.....since my sewing machine has been in the shop.....just called and checked and there are still 10 more ahead of me for repair. Poor man is all alone and doing the best he can. I couldn't be mad at him... I'm just disappointed in the dealership. Another case of sell, sell, sell, heck with the fact we can't service your machine in a timely manner!!!!! Being a no. 1 seller in your area doesn't mean jack you know what if you can't service your machines!!! I hope to see the owner when I finally do pick it up. Sad state of affairs... Hmm...maybe hubby needs to learn sewing machine repair.
There is no one within 100 miles of me and it must go to an authorized dealer. So wait I must....deal with back up machine I must....I will try! If it turns out I cannot make the needle cases in my perfectionist manner....then wait we all must, possibly 2-3 weeks more..
By that time, hoping someone even "wants" anything sewn by me....

That's a bummer! I hope it gets fixed soon.
I'm sorry it's taking so long to get your machine fixed.
I can't complain, though, because I'm justifying a needle case as part of my birthday present, and my birthday is still 6 weeks away. ;)
Oh I want i want, it's just the budget is set for new front yard, porch steps, walls and bathroom repair.
Your work is worth waiting for. Don't stress .. we'll still be here!
I've seen your work, I'm sure there will be people interested!! :)
That gives me time to save up to purchase one, sweet!
Irritating when you have to wait on someone else and it's out of you rhands! But don't worry, I'll wait to get my needle case. I'm still waiting on Knitpicks shipping out my Harmony needles anyways. So we can all wait together!
Sigh. If I win the lottrey this week, I'll ship you an industrial strength Bernina with all the bells and whistles! (better go buy a ticket!)
*hugs*
I will send repair mojo-vibes so that you will get your machine back quickly
:)

I hope it happens soon. You need to knit or something to keep yourself busy. I don't even sew and I'm dying for a machine so I can't even imagine how you feel! ;(
I don't know what would do without my Bernie (sewing machine)! Besides my needles, she is my best friend!
I'm so sorry! Mine has been at the shop too, but I get to pick it up today. Just keep knitting in the meantime!
I am waiting for this to happen to me. Its just a matter of time... I feel for you.
I wish I had an extra one (machine) hanging around and oodles of money. I would ship it to you. For some goods and services of course. :) I cant wait till your all ready.
Don't worry, you are creating demand and suspense!
Of course everyone still wants things sewn by you!! It's not your fault their service is CRAP. And, I think everyone admires that you are waiting and doing them right, rather than slapping them together on a sub-par machine. Quality workmanship is worth the wait!
How frustrating for you! I hope you see the owner and let him know what you think when you finally get to pick up the machine. This is just wrong!
oh I hate that!
But I'm still planning on my dpn case. Sometimes I stroke my Options case and tell it how soon it will have a sister LOL
That is such a bummer! Don't worry though, people will definitely want things sewn by you!
Oh man! What a bummer, I've never had to wait more than a couple of days or a week to get my machine serviced. That just doesn't seem right. At least you knit though... so you're not without means to craft.
Of course I appreciate sewn items by you :) I hope your machine is fixed soon!
I am definitely still interested in a needle case. I've seen pictures of your beautiful work and it looks well worth the wait!
Oh Z… that's just not cool. You want I should go offer to adjust his kneecaps or somethin'?
