Loving the Loop should be the title!
We have a sleeve..well 1" and bind off away! I enjoyed knitting this magic loop style. My increases were done by Kf&b of the first and last stitch and despite a row of tiny holes (which I'm confident will block out) it's not too bad! Sleeve 2 to commence later today.
Sock 1 done (you'll have to wait to see!), sock 2..well..um..hoping I can finish in 4 days to count for my monthly KAL's. One can only work on tiny US 1's for so long per day.
Yes, magic looping again. Something about it lately that I enjoy knitting. Other than just knitting in the round on circulars for like a hat, it is the first method I learned for socks, before dpn's and 2 circs.
I am quite proud of myself. These are the only 2 things being knit right now..lots more are planned and I will fall off the wagon tomorrow nite for a planned hat making session....oh well! ;)

Hats don't count towards WIPs right???
Love your sleeve--can't wait to see it attached to the rest of the sweater!
the sleeve looks great! ever since I learned magic loop it's the only way I knit things in the round that are small (sleeves, socks, etc) I love it!
I have never done magic loop for sleeves. Actually, I have never done magic loop at all. Is it hard? Does it affect the cable at all? It looks like it might make it kink up.
You made fast work of that sleeve! Magic loop is my preferred method too ;)
Your not falling off the wagon. Your hat making session is a planned detor. :)
I love the magic loop for sleeves, it makes them so much more tolerable.
I was reading about your sewing machine woes, it is the same here. One little guy, trying to service machines for the only sewing machine sales place in town, and he is semi retired, so he is not there every day. I have waited a month to have mine worked on : ( Hope you get yours back soon.
Such a pretty green! What yarn are you working with?
I was a firm 2 on 2 sock knitter but I am slowly becoming a ML convert, less futzing with needles. I've heard that since Kelly at KP has discovered the beauty that is ML for socks, we will be seeing 40" fixed cirs in sock sizes. Let me tell you how quickly I'll be ordering a set of those and destashing my 16" ones. I am currently MLing on 32" circs and while it works, 40" would be so much nicer. :)
The sleeve and sock look great so far! I'm sure you'll FO that sock by Sunday.
I love me some ML! Haven't done it for sleeves yet, though. All of my KPs and Addis in the longer lengths are sock sizes!
I love that leafy green! I haven't tried ML yet - another thing to add to my list...
I'm loving your colors! That green will look fantastic on you! I need to learn Magic Loop.
I'm sure you'll finish that sock by this weekend! It is gorgeous!
I love my magic loop too :) Only two WIPs...that's fabulous!! I just keep adding unfortunately!
I love the magic loop for sleeves. I always found them such a pain to work on double points. I think they go quicker too.
The socks look great!
I'm a magic looper too! I think DPNs are a pain and will avoid them if possible.
Ain't magic loop grand? It does annoy me when I don't have a long enough cable though. There's too much flopping around with DPNs!
See, if I tried magic loop, my sleeves would be done! Instead, I have to seam them. sigh.
Your sleeve looks great, as does the sock.
You're doing good only having 2 WIP's; I've cast on for another last night! I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.
Your sleeve is turning out great!!
So are the socks. Seems you are getting in some knitting time with your machine still in the shop:) Hopefully you will have it soon enough to sew all those wonderful needle holders.
nice job! Sleeve looks like it fits like a glove....mine's coming along the same way too
Just found your blog. I'm working on the EDC as well, but I'm knitting both sleeves at once, flat, so if I make any sizing errors, at least they'll be the same mistakes! LOL! I *almost* chose the Shaba green like yours, but went with the Violet Ve... something-or-other instead. I can't wait to see the finished product!
Hemlock! Really! That photo is a spitting image of the Shaba I had swatched and changed my mind! But then again, my photos look more blue than violet, and it's a shame the subtleties of the yarn aren't captured by my silly digi cam. Oh well! I'll have to go look at the Hemlock yarn on the PF site now, so I can get a mental image! :o)
