Si' Capitan

Si' Capitan
Pattern by Rosi-G
1 100g skein of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande from my Seattle trip.
US 10 Circ and dpns
Started January 14
Finished January 20

Yeah, a week for a chunky hat, but oh well! It's a fun, easy pattern to do! Doesn't look too bad on me either, I don't think!
Si' Capitan
But I hate FO pics lately! I just can't do them, and my lovely assistant tries, but my camera hates me!

Another view
A view to see the cables better! No cable needle used here, which sometimes with chunky yarn I have to.
LeftoversPerfect use of a skein from the stash! I've seen a few around with other chunky yarns..hmmm might have to do another one!

Very nifty hat. Great use for a smidge of yarn that's kicking around!

I love it! Did you use anything to make the peak stiff? I've been looking at peaked caps patterns for a while now. Must do.

Oh, jeez. You too? Y'all are killing me with these cute hats. I love that pattern, and I really, really want to make one, but I'm trying to behave and concentrate on what I'm already doing...

The hat turned out great. I am not one to make hats for myself (I never wear them), but it really looks cute on you. I also love the yarn and the color. In fact I think I have a skein of that yarn and just might make that hat, even if it wouldn't be for me.

Very cute hat! You look sweet.

Having that little yarn left over would have made me very nervous. Good use of yarn though.
