April showers bring....

Meathead Hat Flowers!
For the last 2 days, I have been addicted to knitting these hats!! It's been something I couldn't put down!!! Once my sock came off the needles, a pink one of these went on.
Meathead Flower
The pink is LLaces Shepard Worsted doubled, the red is Lion Brand Chunky, single strand.
I downsized needles to a US 11. This is knit flat and seamed, which is ok, good seaming practice, but someone out there must have knit it in the round. (darned red is hard to take a picture, oh and yes, they are going to be washed first :)

Not sure an embellishment is a good idea as they are going to Hats for Alex. I don't want to put anything that could come off or hurt them in any way. I'm a bit behind and hope to get caught up and knitting 3 a month at least.

Isn't it too cute!! Um..er..*blushes* you just may see one here my size soon!
awww
Yeah, I realize I'll look like a dork, not cute and cuddly like the kiddies do, but who cares!
Knitalong Book
Meathead Hat pattern in the Knitalong book, along with a few others. I didn't want to get the book just for that hat I've been wanting to knit for a while, but saw quite a few more patterns I want to use, so I got it. Plus, I like the history of the KAL explained inside.

Hmmm wonder how many of these hats I'll knit...I'm done for at least a week...TD needs sleeves desperately and the rest of it's collar...and those 2 adult hats...well you know...it's warm out, I need them NOW hehe...not!

Oh, and for all of my Charlotte Peeps at BAM knit nite!
For my Charlotte BAM peeps!
Thanks! I luff him!

What cute hats! And I LOVE the pink LL!

You could always embroider something on in a contrasting color as the embellishment...
