YPF-??? Lace Version

??? Laceweight yarn! On this blog...wait, come back, you aren't at the wrong place LOL!

Malabrigo Lace
Malabrigo Laceweight
100% Baby Merino Wool
Marron Oscuro Colorway

I say chocolate!! Yes, I got this skein while visiting Charlotte Yarn for my DK and Fair Isle classes. Like I said before, it's the fumes in there, they make you "want" to knit lace. I did get a pattern and one day will cast on!

Malabrigo Lace
So soft! I mean I love their worsted weight, but the laceweight just seems too delicate to me. Hoping knitting it isn't.

Chocolate lace--now that's just decadent.

Gorgeous! I've resisted the call of lace so far, but if I were to cave, it would definately be to malabrigo! Yummy!

It's colored like chocolate and it's Malabrigo--how COULD you resist??? You never had a chance!

It's sooooo soft and very easy to knit. A great way to jump into lace.

That yarn is beautiful! I can see why you caved! ALthough the lace might be nice, I think I could be happy with just that skein sitting out somewhere I could pet it on occasion.

Try Juno Regina with it....I used laceweight malabrigo for mine...simple easy lace pattern with beautiful results.

Love!

Sooner or later, the lace weight gets everyone. Yours is lovely and you'll do great with lace.

I second the other comments - resistance was futile! ;)

Oh my. That is yummy. I've always wanted to knit with Malabrigo. Mmmm... that looks gooood.

Have fun with that.

I love how Marron Oscuro has bits of orange or pink depending on how the yarn takes up the dye.

It knits up divine though frogging is a little bit of a pain. Still the delicious softness of the laceweight when you're done knitting it up is so yummylicious.

I will not travel through the Malabrigo lace section at my LYS because I know that if I came anywhere near these I would be unable to resist and I don't knit lace!

It… it glows.

Oh my.

Gorgeous and tasty looking! Sadly, I don't think there's any chocolate at my house.

Oh my! Is it normal to almost faint from the beauty of string? I mean really. Chocolate? Yarn? What more could you want?!

I'm not going anywhere, never fear... one glimpse of that skein had me hooked. Lovely sheen it has to it, and those colors... I'm not usually a brown person, but I want to grab it and hold it and sneak off with it when you're not looking...

ohhh yummy! can't wait to see what it grows up to be! ;o)

Gorgeous! I'm like you--I love Mal worsted but I've never used the lace and I just recently bought some!

I will be back to see what you make from it :) I'm sure it will be great!

I shocked to see lace yarn on your blog but I'm glad your willing to take a stab at lace so to speak. A word of warning lace knitting can be highly addicting.

Hey! That's the same colorway Nartian had been trying to hunt down forever to get her SSii done! It's done now-and looks pretty fa-bu, I might add! And because we work together, I've gotten to see and *feel* it! Awesome yarn, that Malabrigo lace is! Me's gots some, too!

I have a temporarily-stalled Mug O Cocoa shawl pattern I'm knitting up in that exact yarn. Lovely stuff!
