Wednesday WIP's

With all this free knitting time...I need to focus LOL! It's hard as I want to finish some longstanding WIP's, plus start something new...so I make a deal with myself, finish something, start something.

This would be the start something...
Everlasting Bagstopper
Everlasting Bagstopper. Need about 1/2 inch or less and the base is done.

Serious progress on these!
Seriously?
Hoping to finish this sock today!

Lookey what's outta hibernation!!
Ribby Shell
Ribby Shell, just mindless stockinette with a little bit of ribbing on both sides, about 9"or so to go before the neckline.

Swatchin' Oh...and another reward for finishing something...see finish one, start one, finish two...swatch another. I got only 1/2 stitch over on stitch gauge and 4 rows bigger in row gauge, (which most of the time I am??) but I'm not going down a needle size to make up for it. I'm gonna go for it! This yarn is sooo soft and fun to knit with. It's Araucania Pomaire and the softness and drape of this is lovely! However...I'm making myself finish another WIP before I cast on...hmmmm the deals I gotta make ;)

Wow, you are getting quite a bit done over there. That sock really grew since the picture I saw on your Flickr. I love the Ribby Shell, and the other shell pattern looks really pretty too. Hmmm, maybe I need to queue some of those!!

Ah ha! I thought it was just TurtleGirl that had the crummy bloglines feed--but it was you too! You got some decent knitting done! I was too busy eating my cupcake to surf over ;-)

The yarn from that last swatch looks familiar! It will make a nice shell. I can't believe I've missed so many posts! I'm glad to hear your news and hope everything goes well. I'll check my stash for some extra Kureyon skeins tonight. I know there has to be a couple lurking in there somewhere.

Finish one, start one! Oh if only I could get that "finish one" part down!! The seriously socks look seriously fabulous! Man, if I knit a pair, would I find a McDreamy??!! heheheh (shh! don't tell Snowboarder I said that!) And the ribbi shell should go quickly! Keep feeling better!

Just catching up on the blog reading thing here. Glad to hear that things are going well! Hope they gave you the "good" painkillers. Which means whatever ones don't make you feel sick....

Some excellent WIPs you have! I really like the Aleita shell, and it will be very pretty in that yarn.

Well you sure are making great use of your down time! I had printed off pattern for the everlasting Bagstopper....and then sewed 5 reusable grocery bags instead - quite a bit faster and oh so pretty in batiks :-)
Your 2 shells are going to be beautiful!
Best to you in your recovery!
