Lights...

Well, not much decorating this weekend, however I will share these...

Tree I love this type of old art. Not sure what you call it but maybe distressed or something. It was a gift from a friend quite a few years ago and it's still kicking. (ignore the ugly cords please)

A flag I got when DD was in love with lions. Do I have it going the wrong way?? Looks like they want to come in.

Now at night!
Porch Lights
The tree along with icicle and garland lights. I hate heights and hubbs is busy with his MBA (and he's not keen on outside decorating) so this is the most you'll see outside at my house.

The porch
Next weekend is the tree and more inside decorating...baking..getting ready 'cause guess who comes home a year older (his birthday is the 11th)?? Well he'll be home on the 18th for 3 weeks! I'm excited...although I'll have to surrender the craft room..but hey, not a bad thing either...

My son loves lions, I should look out for something like that! Congrats on your upcoming visit! Surrendering your craft room is the least you can do. :)

I dig the folk art tree!
The flag kind of reminds me of March--don't they say it comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb??
Your lights are nice!! Chunky declared ours "ghetto" this morning--hahaha!

So pretty!!! We didn't manage to get our outdoor lights on yet - there was snow on the ground yesterday (ugh) so I didn't want Pete getting on the ladder. We did get the tree up and lit (but no ornaments yet) and some cookie dough made and frozen (minus a test tray of each baked up - he he). 10 more days until Jimmy's home - wwwhhheeee!!! I know you're more than happy to surrender your craft room!

That's a lot more decorating than I did in the midst of my MBA. It looks wonderful - so festive!

Oooooh!!! Aaaaah! Very pretty.
Hang on to that folk art, it's always worth the big bucks on antique road show.

Pretty lights! You've got more than I have up. I didn't put them up when the weather was nice since it was too early, Now it is -13C and I am not going out just to hang some lights.....

I am not fan of inside house light decorations - but really like watching what my neighbours di with x-mas decorations! Also, my MIL is totaly coloured blind when it comes to choosing coloures! Believe me, you need sunglasses when she takes decorations into her hands!

Pretty pretty! And hey, if someone hung me on a pole outside, I'd want to come in, too.
