YPF-Baba what?

hmmmm
054

Baba Jaga is a witch-like character flying around antagonizing small people. Hmmm...interesting name, and interesting colors.

055
Here you see reds, pinks and what looks like orange, but IRL a deeper, darker color...

056
Mixed with the black, even better.

Wollmeise 80/20 Twin
Baba Jaga Colorway
80% superwash merino/20% nylon
510 yds, yes, whew, that's a pair or more of socks, knee highs, or maybe a scarf or even ...shhhh lace??

Hehe..didn't even realize it...more red! Well after this weekend, the reds will be out to lunch for a bit....onward to greens, blacks, browns, etc....

The DH was told of Baba Jaga when he was a kid. That you have to crush all your eggshells before throwing them away or she will make a boat and come and eat your soul or something. Very freaky. And funny that he will get on me to crush the shells!

Yeah and she lived in the forest on a house that was on chicken feet. She's a Russian folk tale if I'm not mistaken. All the Alaskan kids know of her, since we can see Russia from our houses you know.

Very pretty!

It's too bad Hubster's mother is such a sweet woman, 'cause that Baba Jaga definition would make an awesome MIL crack! ;)

That's wonderful! I don't have a lot of red yarns in my stash.. Perhaps I need to diversify!

Sorry I didn't see you this weekend - life got in the way, to say the least. Hope your week is a great one!

You have the best stash! Did you catch a shop update? I've never tried the twin before only the worsted and the 100% superwash sock. I love the red!
