New Etsy finds and other random stuff

First up, a new sock/small project bag from Acornbud . I got to see one of her bags up close, and personal ;) and wanted my own, and no, I didn't want to sew it!

I love it because it is round (think oatmeal box shape) and the base has a cd in it to keep it totally upright...ooohh and Amy Butler Fabric, instant love.

Next up are new scrub caps for work!

This one Cherry Wallpaper by you know who ;) has a small pouch in the back for ponytails. Yes, I am growing my hair again...well for a minute anyways. You'll see some things for me in this print soon...

And another cause you know a girl has to change her look some days! Plus, I'm getting a new, cool, lead apron at work so I needed new hats!

Gothic Rose....by you know who again ;) Both from The Hat Cottage.
I'm really happy with all 3 products, all were very well sewn :) (you know I'd be checking this out right ;)

If the top 3 items weren't enough to get on Saturday, I received this as well!

Chevron Love Mittens
Yes, I am going to attempt these, love the colors in here. (I also love my new seat cushions for the porch too, now if the pollen would go away, I could enjoy them!)

Here is an update on the FLS...
As of 3/28/09
No, your eyes are not playing tricks. You are looking at cast on and 3 rows. I was about to try it on to see when I could start the lace and yeah..damn raglan increases, all 4 were off a few stitches (do not ask how that happened I have no clue!) I frogged back and tried to fix (3 times) and no luck. Then for the heck of it...I re-measured the gauge again....um..well now going to be knit on US 8's. Should go quicker now, it won't sit for a long time.

Do you think someone wants to go with me?? I just think the suitcase was in her "special" napping place is all!
Someone...
Lucky me gets to go to Wisconsin for training this week. Our new xray room is installed and we gotta learn how to use it. I looked at the weather...yahoo, my weather!! *cough* ahem...sweaters and long sleeves are packed, as well as a winter/rain coat, hat, cowls, etc.

Sorry Sapphire, you get to stay home and guard the house ;)

Love the bag and caps! Very cool using a cd at the bottom to stabilize it!

We've got a feline luggage napper here too. Not sure what it is about suitcases...

I can't take my suitcases out without at least two of my cats wanting to get in. I typically have to take out the suitcase at least two days ahead of time to give all my cats a chance take a turn.

Bummer that you had to frog the FLS. But take 2 will go better! Love the scrub caps. So much better than those plain blue things!

Love the new caps and project bag! Bummer on the sweater too. Hopefully it will go faster this time. I'm thinking I
Ight have to frog mine and knit the next size up.I'm at the point of starting the third button hole and I think the damn thing is too small.

Did you make the scrub caps yourself? They're neat!

I've been eyeing the Chevron mitten kit.

I've been dying to cast on the FLS too... maybe in April!

Have a great trip! I'm sure the airplane knitting will be your lucky charm. :)

I'm so sorry for your FLS! It was beautiful, but such things occur from time to time. Good for you for casting right back on! All your Etsy purchases are great. That's been such a dangerous marketplace for me, though I love it.

Love the Etsy finds! The fabric on all three rocks! (And I'm trying not be be jealous of their talent because my sewing skills suck right now.)

Cute finds! I wish I could wear scrubs to work--maybe I'll just start and see what people day, LOL.

Poor kitty! Mine get sad when the suitcases come out..

My FLS had the same fate--it doesn't take as long the 2nd time.

I'm drooling over that bag, and Julia does fantastic stuff, doesn't she? She's actually in one of my knitting groups! Good luck on that FLS. I'm sure it'll be great.

Aw, that's an awesome kitty picture!

Bring yer boots. It's sounding a mite snowy 'round these parts...

Love the bag, and the yarn for the mitts, just fabulous. As is the kitty picture. Just don't tell my cats I said someone else's cat was cute or they'll get mad.
