YPF-The Gilligan Version...

When I saw the name of this colorway and then the colors, it brought back some great memories...

Ok, aging myself now but do you remember Gilligan's Island? If you do, raise your hand...yeah..ok, 1, 2, 3....

Twisted Fiber Arts
It was my favorite show growing up. My grandmother and I would watch every episode we could together. We sat there glued to the tv and laughed our butts off....in my case literally hehehe...

Gilligan reminded me of myself as I'm quite the klutz, ditz, and you know the everyone can have a good laugh at/with/ I can guarantee, I fall off of chairs, stools, up and down stairs...flat, leveled surfaces...yeah tried to do that today. Sigh...

I remember seeing the lagoon shots (yeah I know, prolly some lake in California, but humor me ok!) and wished I had that to swim in everyday.

Lagoon Playful
100% superwash Merino
Sportweight 350 yds
Also shown is heels/toes in Agate

Well, *I* remember Gilligan's Island. I never really watched it though. But, I do know that the best way to get a song out of your head is to sing 'Amazing Grace' to the tune of 'Gilligan's Island.' Seriously. Try it.

Pretty yarn, especially that green!

::::raises hand:::::

Remember the episode where Ginger made a compact out of a clam shell. Blueberries for eyeshadow, blackberries for mascara and red-berries for rouge and lipstick. LOL!

The sheer inventiveness of that show.
I still say Lost in Space was a parallel story on the same formula.

Loved that show!! My grandma was all about Murder She Wrote or Perry Mason though, so no memories of watching Gilligan with her :)

That yarn is soooo our color combo! Love it!!

TBS used to play it in reruns right after school. I watched it every day! The yarn is pretty! Not your typical color combination. Nice.

Of course, now I'm going to have the theme song running through my head all day...

I'm not a big gilligan fan, but that yarn is beautiful. I mean just the nice squooshylookingness of it makes me want to drool on it/steal is.

Ginger and Mary Ann would approve and have some wacky episode where they'd fight over the socks..

I remember Gilligan's Island. We have a dog named Skipper. We did have another dog named Little Buddy. They showed up as strays together.
anyway, I love the red colorway.
