Well we had to come into town to take care of some business, so here's a peek on the goings on of the last week.
RAIN, a 4-letter word, I'm quite familiar with. (checks hair for moss that could be growing there!) We still got out and about and the 4th parade and fireworks still happened.
The rainy bridge in Bucksport as we're getting closer to picking up my son.
My cousin and her son at the parade.
Tiny cars brought to you by the Shriners
The point next to us.
There is some knitting going on and some reading as well! (on book 5 of the Sookie Stackhouse books)
sockage
Start of a shawl. February Lady is almost done a sleeve, no blocking or pics here of it as it would take forever to dry with no sun and no iron...
Off to enjoy my last 4 days!
My sunset picture from Sunday nite looking from our campsite!
Miss you all, weird to be out of touch so to speak, but so very relaxing at the same time. We're recharged and ready to go now! :)

Gorgeous sunset!
A rolling stone gathers no moss, my friend.
(Not that your head is a stone.)
Beautiful pictures! They make me want to jump in the car and head North.
Hi - right back at you! Glad to hear you are having fun!
So glad you are having a great trip!
Oh such a gorgeous sunset....and Bucksport...I gather that is here in Maine .... I believe we have been there...where is the campsite? We camp and it looks so nice there...
Looks like you are having a great time! Phooey to the rain, hope its the last. It looks quite stunning where you are at! And yay for knitting time!
Rain, schmain. I thought that WAS summer in New England.
Enjoy the last few days of R&R!
I'm glad you're having a good time despite the weather. The sun actually came out here in the southern part of the state yesterday and today.
So beautiful.
Sorry about all the rain, but so glad you are having a wonderful and relaxing time!!
No matter the rain, such lovely pics of the lake!
You know what - I would rather spent my vacation time on the like than by the sea!
I'm rereading my Sookie books. love em. As for the rain, yup, lots here too. I'm getting mouldy, I'm afraid
