What's up Wednesday!

Well, since the frogging of the sweater, I kinda lost my mojo for any sweater knitting for a bit.
Instead I decided that almost a year on the needles...um...this needed to be finished.

It's great comfort and tv knitting. I have 16" done and I'm hoping to have the body done by the end of the weekend, so I can work on the ruffle. Not sure if I can get it done by the 25th but I'll try.

Shawl that Jazz
Shawl that Jazz

I'm teaching a toe up sock class for the knitting guild this Saturday.
Gnomey Sock
I better get crackin' on 4" more of this sock so I can show them just where to start the heel.

Thanks for your comfort food comments. I see a lot of similar ones I like too :) Why the comfort references lately? First of all, we are all healthy so it's not that. Just a lot of change that may be coming our way in the next few months. Rather than stress myself out too much, I am just trying to knit it away. Stay tuned, life may get pretty exciting around here. "gulp"

I am sooo envy you are teaching knitting! Me, on the other side - can make almost everything but I am total idiot when it comes to teach someone else the same thing!!!

Technically for instructional purposes you don't have to have the sock that big right? You could start the heel anytime right?
And then donate the sock to homeless gnome with cold feet.

Speaking of cold, I bet that you're moving to a colder climate!

Your shawl is so pretty in Beached!
I need to take a toe-up class. It seems like it should be so simple but I always struggle with getting a good fit and end up frogging.

I hope Bezzie's right about the change - are you moving my way? Are ya, huh? I hope it's a good change like that!

I agree, sometimes it's nice to do a bunch of smaller projects. More satifying

I really love my Shawl That Jazz, and I hope yours will be excellent too! I need to buckle down and figure out my life soon, and I don't wanna. Here's hoping your upcoming change will be just what you ordered!
