Eye candy Friday post, not a new idea, this has been around the blogosphere for a long time. A bit different then Wordless Wednesday's in that I can write words.
Hubby just returned from a quick business trip to Maine. When asked what I wanted him to bring home, I first said, our son ;)
Since I couldn't have him home yet (next month) the next best thing is my most favorite doughnut in the whole world!
Chocolate sugared from Rebecca's Place in Augusta. We don't know if they make them on site or import them from somewhere, but they are the bomb! Ahhh had one before dinner and will have another for breakfast tomorrow...sadly he only brought 6 home....darn it! Guess I'll have to wait until June. We get to join our son on the last leg of his summer cruise! We will be aboard ship from Camden, ME to Castine, ME and see a tiny bit of shipboard life. I can't wait...
On another note, no moving for us this fall. Sniff...it wasn't meant to be. We are full of a lot of emotions on that subject and I won't bore you with the details....it just sometimes isn't fair...but then some things happen for a reason....we just have to wait and see what that reason turns out to be. Or until December 2012...retirement time for hubby if all else fails. Maine bound for sure!!

The right thing will come along at the right time. (hugs) Hang in there.
Sorry no move for you Z! At least you can have some cool weather to wait it out in for the next few months. Just think, only 2 more summers to endure.
Sorry about the no moving. :( But O.M.G. Those donuts look AMAZING!
There's nothing like fresh homemade old-fashioned style donuts. Yum!
Yum! So much for my diet ....
The doughnuts look pretty amazing - and so does the trip from Camden to Castine.
Sorry we won't be neighbors this year, but who knows what's next around the bend? Something even better could be in the wings....
I'm sorry, Zonda. I know y'all were hoping for better news. I'm sure Thea's right, though. Something better will be out there for you!!
I'm sorry you don't get to move this year. But at least you get to have these delicious-looking doughnuts. I know, these two things aren't really the same scale at all, but... those are some very yummy-looking doughnuts!
