I really do, call me sick or something....however, this is one garter stitch project I was happy to finish :)
Nothing with the pattern at all! I'm just a fidgety knitter sometimes. I am making myself finish things instead of jumping around and having tons of WiP's...thus you'll be seeing some getting done soon!
Guess I should have worn a different color shirt...oh well...
It really is an easy knit, relaxing too, sometimes too relaxing LOL!
Often windy around here, was a bit of a pain to pose ;)
Stripe Study Shawl
Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering, MC "Backwards in High Heels" and CC in "Henley"
US 6 circular
Mods: due to the Primo only being 385 yds each, I knew I needed to only knit 10 CC stripes (thanks to notes from Ravelry). I used a crochet bind off with a hook 2 sizes larger than I knit with.
It's lovely, soft and so drapey. Knitting with Primo is a pleasure, so soft! Depending on the job I have someday, hoping I'll get lots of wear besides with my winter coat ;)

Beautiful shawl, I love it. I used to think garter stitch was icky ... until I was introduced to Elizabeth Zimmerman's work. Now I love it.
I love the colours you've chosen. Nice job!
I love the garter st too. The colours on that shawl are absolutely beautiful. That Plucky Knitter sure knows how to do it!
That is beautiful! It looks wonderful.
Very very pretty!! Super knitting too! What is so cool about garter stitch is the texture-it really highlights in hand dyes.
I like garter on baby projects mostly!
Love the color combo!
Sometimes I love garter stitch. Sometimes it's boring.
Your shawl looks great in garter stitch. It really lets the yarn be the star.
Congrats on the finish.
This is really beautiful. I love your colors. I love garter stitch, too, it's so squishy and elemental.
I'd like to send you the Cane Sugar Mitts pattern, but it's easiest to do on ravelry. Do you have a rav account? Would you leave a message on my blog with your rav name? Or email me? Cheers, Larissa
Love this so much! The color combination is wonderful, and I admit, I kinda like garter stitch too. :D
queueueueueued! I like garter stitch too. Great for tv knitting....
Very pretty!
Garter stitch is great for that 'mindless' knitting.
I LOVE this shawl! I have some Smooshy with Cashmere in two colors that might be just perfect for this. It has already been faved on Ravelry!
This is so lovely - beautiful! Would you mind finishing my shawl in this pattern? It killed my knitting mojo for a good while!
