I can finally post these 2 projects now.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rasta
Colorway: Zarzmora
Lots of purple in here.
Size 17 circulars and some knitting and it later became this neckwarmer. Used every bit of those 90 yds :) Just like my last Rasta neckwarmer I got the buttons from my LYS. She has great buttons. (amongst other things ;)
Next up
Yarn: Malabrigo Rasta
Colorway: Zarzmora
Not as much purple, and some greenish/blackish colors too.
It grew up to become...
LTYC Super Bulky Cowl
Size 15 circulars and literally had to go down to like size 13's to bind off the last 4 sts or so. Whew, that was close.
More close ups of the 2nd Zarzamora.
Seeing them both together like this...
and this...
If you've ever knit with Malabrigo Rasta, it's sooooo soft and yummy. Often times the same colorways are somewhat different as it is with hand-dyed yarns. I have 1 skein of another colorway and not sure what I want to knit. I know it'll be a neckwarmer of some sort as I wear this one almost every day...yes...here in the mountains of AZ...it is needed!
They are now in the hands of their new owners :)
Have an exciting weekend coming up. Can't wait to post about it! It's been a long time coming!

Ooh... a bulky neckwarmer in Rasta does sound awesome.
Gorgeous!! The colors remind me of stained glass when knitted up. So pretty.
And I'll bet that nice squishiness helps absorb all the drool one must produce wearing one! LOL!
Be still my heart. These are lovely!
Awwww bulky yarn! me lime it! A lot!
And when it comes to taking pics of purple/violet ... it is always like mission impossible fo my camera - somehow purple always showa blue on photos!
Malabrigo is always yummy! Very nice neckwarmers. They are timely too. At least around here, the temps finally dropped to 'norms'
Malabrigo bulky sounds to luscious. Love the cowls.
