Toe pic!

Heel pic! See a familiar heel??

It fits really well!

and looks like this on the bottom!

Here's the finished socks!

Cotty socks by Irishgirlieknits
Collinette Jitterbug in Toscana Colorway
US 1 circs - 2 circ method (normally I knit ML, but well...um..they are all in use ;)
Mods: knit anklets instead of full socks. Knit 5 rounds of cuff, then 4 rounds of stockinette before I knit a slipsitch heel. Then I knit Cristi's Double Gusset Heel. I love this heel mod. As you can see above, it fits very well and it's really easy to do. I like how you can use this to "hide" the decreases. I knit the rest of the sock according to pattern.
Now for it to cool down so I can wear them!
Next sock will be a blast from the WiP past ;)

Cute socks! I recognized Cristi's heel right away. I've only used that heel once and my mom snagged those socks. I guess I'll have to try it again. Maybe that should be a SOS 12 goal!
You've gotta love a double gusset heel, I know I do! Totally cute as anklets too :0) How is the summer in AZ? It is hot and sticky as heck here in SC, but you know that already ;0)
Well those are really cool socks!
I love that color. I will definitely have to try that heel. I like that look and it looks like it would be nice and snug on my skinny heels.
