2012 Hats for Sailors
This was knit with doubled yarn for a chunky, quick hat.

4 Hr. Bulky Hat
Red is Cascade 220 Superwash handpaints/Blue is Mission Falls Wool 1824
Size 11 needles
Only mods were not knitting to 9". I was running out of the red and ended up using one strand of red and blue for the crown. It's a perfect beanie.

Regular Guy Beanie in Cascade 220 Superwash
size 7 circs
Knit the body about 1/2" longer than pattern, but it'll fit someone :D

Sailor-roni aka Rib-a-roni
Cascade 220 Superwash in a light brown heather and Summer sky heather
No mods, a great pattern with many sizes
size 7 circs

Off they went to California to be on their way to a fine Navy person!
Gotta go...more Smittens calling my name!

Hats are an excellent idea! I just finished one that is as yet unblocked etc for a giftmas swap! Long live the hat!
