Green Friday Pr0n

Hi! Well I figure some of you that stop by, are thinking or hoping of something Green about right now! ;)

So here's some green eye candy just for you!

My creation Peace Fleece Worsted in Hemlock! These are the true colors, dark yummy green!

My creation Give the yarn a bit of light, and you can see the yellow and blue hues (bits?) in it! You don't notice it as much unless you are around brighter lighting! Makes it look tweedy to me and I love it! :)

PF cardi I'm using it to make this cardi! Swatching will commence soon!! I want to make a sweater that fits...soon! This will be my first knitting with PF, I do remember reading a lot about the blooming, so I need to make sure that the swatch gets a good bath! I don't mind it roomy, but I don't want a potato sack either!! (remember Brown Gable!! grrr!)

Have a great weekend everyone!

HEY! I JUST ORDERED MY EVERYDAY CARDIGAN AND PEACE FLEECE.

NOT. KIDDING.

I was wavering between the green and Negotiation Gray, and that's what I ended up buying.

You are my knitting TWIN! When it arrives I'll cast on right away and we can have a party when we finish!

Lovely color! I've heard Peace Fleece softens up quite a bit after washing, too.

Yummy! Strangely, I've never liked green in former years, but this has changed drastically - I adore it by now, and these shades of your yarn are particularly beautiful! I can't wait to see the progress shots of the cardi you're going to make, what an awesome pattern!

Lovely green! It'll look great once you knit it up, and I'm sure it'll be warm too.

I just finished a project where I didn't wash the swatch, and from experience, I can only say that you're right to go to the extra trouble. Yes, it wastes some yarn, yes, it's a pain in the butt, but it really does help when you know how the yarn is going to behave!

I'm sure this sweater will fit just fine. Can't wait to see pictures of what happened to the happy green yarn!
