Hi! Well I figure some of you that stop by, are thinking or hoping of something Green about right now! ;)
So here's some green eye candy just for you!
Peace Fleece Worsted in Hemlock! These are the true colors, dark yummy green!
Give the yarn a bit of light, and you can see the yellow and blue hues (bits?) in it! You don't notice it as much unless you are around brighter lighting! Makes it look tweedy to me and I love it! :)
I'm using it to make this cardi! Swatching will commence soon!! I want to make a sweater that fits...soon! This will be my first knitting with PF, I do remember reading a lot about the blooming, so I need to make sure that the swatch gets a good bath! I don't mind it roomy, but I don't want a potato sack either!! (remember Brown Gable!! grrr!)
Have a great weekend everyone!

Mmm green. I just cast on for my green socks tonight. That yarn is really pretty.
Mmm...Peace Fleece!
What yummy greens. Almost makes me want to eat my vegetables!! LOL
Love the spring green! I do see the tweedy bits. Very nice. Can't wait to see the cardi.
I love that color! What a great name too...Hemlock. It looks so soft. Good luck with the cardigan.
Ooh, I've been wanting to try some Peace Fleece, let us know how it knits up!
Great close-up yarn pron!
ooooh, green's my favorite color so this is my favorite pr0n so far today. Now must go check out Peace Fleece!
HEY! I JUST ORDERED MY EVERYDAY CARDIGAN AND PEACE FLEECE.
NOT. KIDDING.
I was wavering between the green and Negotiation Gray, and that's what I ended up buying.
You are my knitting TWIN! When it arrives I'll cast on right away and we can have a party when we finish!
Gorgeous color--love the name!
that is some yummy green pron! I love the pattern too, I need to venture on from hats bags socks and make something to wear!
I love that green! I need to get into green more.
Lovely color! I've heard Peace Fleece softens up quite a bit after washing, too.
What a great yarn!
lovely green color! can't wait to see it finished.
I love that color yarn. I hate that whole blooming thing.
Yummy! Strangely, I've never liked green in former years, but this has changed drastically - I adore it by now, and these shades of your yarn are particularly beautiful! I can't wait to see the progress shots of the cardi you're going to make, what an awesome pattern!
Ohhh, love this color! I have this pattern too. I can't wait to see this on you. Going to be so pretty.
Lovely green! It'll look great once you knit it up, and I'm sure it'll be warm too.
I just finished a project where I didn't wash the swatch, and from experience, I can only say that you're right to go to the extra trouble. Yes, it wastes some yarn, yes, it's a pain in the butt, but it really does help when you know how the yarn is going to behave!
I'm sure this sweater will fit just fine. Can't wait to see pictures of what happened to the happy green yarn!
beautiful yarn- can't wait to see how it knits up.
Zonda! Love the yarn pr0n! (Where did you get those purple DPN needle protectors that you gave to KnitPastis? I've been looking and looking and cannot find...)
What beautiful green yarn! I've been wanting to try some peace fleece as I heard great things about it. Can't wait to her how you like working with it.
I love green, it all looks wonderful.
