Brooks Farm Yarn Four Play
50% wool/50% Silk
270 yds.
I got 4 skeins to possibly finally make one of
these! So soft and squishy, it was hard to choose a colorway. Of course the sample Clapotis yarn wasn't there, sigh...so this had to do. No idea on the colorway...no name on the tag.
I tried both inside and outside lighting. These are the best from both. I like the neutral shades and it will go with a lot of my clothes. Hmmm guess I know what will be good long car ride (12hrs each day) knitting huh?
I'll be sewing a lot this 3 day weekend. I should have a needlecase update Sunday or Monday!

that's beautiful! I love the subtlety of the colors. And yes, Clapotis is excellent car knitting.

That is beautiful!
Mmmmm… Brooks Farm…
I got the Acero for the exact same thing! Mine'll knit up a little smaller, but that's cool.
That will turn into a beautiful Clap! Brooks Farm is also on my list to try, and the silk makes it so smooth looking.
Can't wait for your shop update, I missed out on the first batch.
Yeah Brooks farm booth did make me like a moth to a flame when I went to the flea-market fiber fest.
Is it maybe "Glory" colored?
These are great colors indeed!
You are going to enjoy this knit in the car. I bet it's going to be fun to see the way these colors knit up too. You captured great photos of this yarn.
Gorgeous color! I Love it!
It'll definitely be a very nice clapotis for sure!
Happy knitting!
Good luck with your car rides!

I really love the neutral colors. I can't wait to see how it comes out!
That would make a lovely Clapotis! The colors are very similar to Aslan, which is the color I picked for my mother's. It's very elegant and she wears it everywhere.
Yeah, thats going to make a fabulous clapotis. I always imagined it in more natural, muted colors. I love your taste!
Sew away! I will be thinking of you. I have spent most of the weekend behind my sewing machine as well. Glad you like your mini zip! Can't wait to see your updates!
Oh, that's lovely. I like the soft warm colors.
