Ridge that is!
A few of my friends have knit one, each in their own way.
My Noro Bouquet
I likey this color,
and this color
and this color, the one that started it all, the one which will be my first colorway knitted, #51.
It was my very first skein of Noro purchased in 2005 at my first LYS I ever visited in NC. (only the 2nd one overall at the time :)
I like seeing all the different versions out there, heck some have even used crochet. As for me, I like the applied I cord here and the strip knitting method here. Both of which I'll be using.
I had probably random skeins in the stash already. I've been gifted a few (thanks again! :) , swapped for a few, got a few at a steal, and paid full price for very few! :) There was no method to my colors, I did get a few I liked, but the rest are basically a potluck. After color 51 I may just stick my hand in the bag and knit the very skein I pick up.
Since I plan on knitting this in strips, I'm thinking I'll just use up the entire skein and try to keep them about the same size....or not....who knows....stay tuned!

A wonderful array of Noro yummy-ness! I don't dare attempt this project (I've got size fright!), but I'm really looking forward to seeing your progress.
That's going to be a gorgeous Lizard!
Catching up on your posts - the needles look very cool. I've never seen them before!
oh man... noro colors are sooooo beautiful! I don't like the hay so much though. =/
Nice!! It really does look like a bouquet :)
Ooh you will have fun making your lizard! I enjoy my Lizzie all the time!!
Can't wait to see your progress along the way!
Very pretty pile of yarn! If I were to knit one, I'd also do it in strips. So much less seaming!
And so it begins....!
Exciting. Enjoy working with all those gorgeous colours. I'm making a Noro log cabin right now and am LOVING it. One log cabin block for each skein.
Wow, that is quite the bouquet of Noro! I like the stick-the-hand-in-the-bag idea!
Ahahahaahaah. i can't believe you never succumbed to using that very first skein of Noro purchased in 2005 at your first LYS. you have some kind of control, that's for sure!
My first skein of Noro is my Lizard Ridge too. I can't wait to see your progress. It's going to be beautiful!
WOW! It's gonna be just gorgeous! I have quite a few Noro skeins around, and 10 of one colorway I loved but have no clue WHY I only got 10 skeins of it! For WHAT? At least an option is to maybe work them into this with the other colors mixed in to make it bigger and just balance them all out!
I can hardly wait to see yours!
Can't wait to see your progress. It's gonna be gorgeous!
I love the colours too!! Just hate the feeling of the yarn :(
It will be fantastic looking when you are done :)
I've always wanted to Knit Lizard ridge, but honestly don't like knitting with Noro so much. I can't wait to see how yours unfolds.
Gorgeous!! All that color! Its going to be a spectacular blanket!
Such a wonderful array of colors going on there. Your blanket is going to be stunning! xoxo
