Well I knew I wouldn't get my Pink Forwards done in time for my July socks for SAM6, and decided I also needed a fingering weight sock knitting break as well.
Presenting.... Greeny Dwarfs!
Red Dwarf Socks from Cristi or here
Wick Yarn in Avocado
US 4 circular, ML
My first pair were in a variegated yarn and just didn't do the pattern justice! I've been wanting to knit them again with a solid, and the timing was perfect. (hehe..um..well had the yarn since the first pair were done)
Please ignore my pasty white legs...not much sun for me lately! But hey...you're supposed to be looking at the finely detailed Fish tail lace pattern here!!
Greeny is attracted to the plants...see, still alive and thriving. You should see the buds on this plant (more on that tomorrow!)
See, Greeny just loves hanging with Pinky!
This time I used a regular short row heel, picking up the wraps on the knit (public) side for all rows. Soooo much easier than a YO srh!
This is the only evening picture left, I kinda liked. The day I went to photo shoot these, there was a thunderstorm going on while it was light and my indoor shoot..well, told you that already!
It's a great pattern, which should tell you since I knit it more than once! Also much quicker this time round too!
Aside from about a yard that didn't make it into the picture, this is all that is left. Just enough for repairs.

Those are gorgeous!! Sometimes we just need the sportweight! I've been meaning to knit these in some STR like Trillian's....hmmm..must get on that!
Great job!!
Those are beautiful! Love them!
Oooh, they're a perfect match for my Red Dwarfs! I love Wick & it's a fun sock pattern, right?

What pretty socks! If my sock mojo wasn't hiding out this year, I'd probably make a pair :-)
am I the only one not seeing the posts where it should be? (it's far to the right and down below the end of the right-hand column)
Weird! I got rid of sitemeter too!
Gorgeous!
These are stunning!!!! And a pattern I hadn't noticed before too. Thank you, added to my queue. :D
i have a hibiscus in the same color :)
love the socks, too!
They look very comfy! But I just read a post about artichokes and I think those are more artichoke colored!
Beautimous!
Fab Dwarfs! Or would that be Dwarves...
These socks are fantastic!
Great socks! I love that stitch pattern!
So pretty! Eeks about the the yarn left over! Of course it's always great to use up all of a yarn.
I **love** these and just queued them!
Great socks! I like the color too. Very neutral.
