Hubby lives to see another day! ;)
All the socks fit, and just a few are a tiny bit felted at the bottoms. My goal this week is to either get a basket or make a bag to hang in my "craft room" far from his laundry hands!!
In the meantime, you'll be seeing a union...
of these 2 yarns...the one above, ya all know what that is. My bargin at SAFF, $3 per skein people, who could resist it. Besides I knew I needed it eventually and for $3-4 less per skein it had to go home with me so it could be put together to live with...
This Peace Fleece in Father's Gray. With the 2 yarns together I am swatching for 1 particular pattern. However, there are 2 others that will work with it too, so it depends which one I get gauge with...stay tuned ;)

I'm so happy for you that your socks still fit, and for your hubby that he gets to live to do more laundry (non-handknits only, of course).
Wow, I am so jealous over the Cascade for $3 per skein, and what a lovely combination you'll have paired with the Peace Fleece. Mmmm!
Lucky Hubbie!!!! I hope mine knows better!
Oooh can't wait to see what you're going to end up making!
Glad to hear the socks will live to be worn again.
Mmm...Peace Fleece. That was the first "real" yarn I ever bought at an LYS. I love it!
I'm glad the socks escaped with minimal permanant damage!
I can't wait to see what you are putting together. I'm sure it will be great.
I love Cascade and for $3 what a steal. I glad your hubby will be able to make it another day. Just think if the bottoms are felted a little it will help them to wear longer.
$3???? You just had to buy it. I would have yelled at you if you didn't!!
Glad to hear the sock crisis was averted. I hang a dedicates bag on nob on the back of the bedroom door and store my dirty socks there until I wash them. :)
Great yarns together.
Good thing hubby's out of the dog house. There's only me to blame if socks get felted in my house. :)
Nice save! Glad to know your socks didn't shrink.
I'm afraid I'm still the only one to blame when one of my handknit socks lands in the washer, but I've been lucky so far.
I wonder what your project will be? Great yarns.
But, oh, your poor socks. I'll bet he knows the difference now!
So glad the socks (and hubby) survived!!
Can't wait to see what you have in store for these two yarns!
Oh, I'm so glad you were able to save your socks!! All that lovely knitting!
